Respiratory illness season is defined as October through mid-May with communicable diseases like COVID-19, influenza, and RSV running rampant. As the weather cools down, flu activity rises with the largest spike taking place between December and February. This is a great time to stay mindful of symptoms and be sure you are up to date on vaccinations.

Call our Public Health Nursing Clinic at (740-775-1146) to schedule an appointment for vaccinations. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcome Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm and Fridays from 8am to 12pm. Low-cost options are available and most insurances are accepted.
