The links below are for reporting COVID-19 related complaints in local businesses, stores, workplaces, health systems, long-term care facilities, day-cares, campgrounds, local events, and other operations located in Ross County, OH. The Ross County Health District and Ohio Department of Health will investigate complaints based upon the information reported by the complainant and the current public health orders in place by the Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Governor, or local jurisdiction at the time of the complaint. Please note, as of November 24, 2020 there is a change in the agency who conducts investigation of COVID-19 related complaints.
The Ohio Department of Health will investigate all retail setting complaints in accordance to the Retail Setting Mask Use Order set on November 13th, 2020. This includes retail settings such as grocery stores, shopping centers, retail stores, hardware stores, markets, flea markets, craft malls, etc. will be investigated by the Ohio Department of Health.
The Ross County Health District investigates all other COVID-19 related complaints including: 1) service industry including restaurants, bars, clubs, banquet and catering halls, event halls, hair salons, day spas, nail salons, tattoo and body art facilities, tanning facilities, gyms, dance studios, personal fitness venues, etc. 2) Schools or universities or daycares 3) Governmental offices 4) Jails, prisons, and institutions 5) Medical offices 6) Long term care facilities or nursing homes 7) Office environments, workplaces, manufacturing, or industry settings 8) Sports, sports venues, Indoor Recreation Venues, Entertainment Venues
