As of 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2020, the Ross County Health District office will be closed to the public to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission within the community and to protect the health of our employees.
Please call our office at (740) 779-9652 to schedule appointments for services or order birth/death certificates, call (740)775-1158 to request applications and permits for water samples, real estate transfer inspections, sewage, well, and food service.
The Ross County WIC office will remain open, but by appointment only. Please call (740)XXX-XXXX to schedule an appointment.
Tobacco Use Prevention and Cessation, Creating Healthy Communities, Drug Overdoes Prevention and Mobility Management programs will continue from remote locations. Please contact the direct program coordinator to schedule services.
Healthy Families of America Home Visiting programs will remain active, but not currently doing in-person visits. Clients will be called to schedule virtual meetings.
Naloxone distribution will continue, but with a modified training cap and distribution method. Please contact Brittany Burns at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a training and to receive Naloxone. First responders may continue to come to the Health District for naloxone.
We are reducing our Children with Medical Handicaps and Cribs for Kids programs. Please call our office for more information.
Our Nurse of the Day Clinic is currently closed at this time. If you have a time-sensitive, emergency need or need referrals to other locations to receive an immunization please call 740-775-1146.
